Memphis, TN – Two of the best known brands in America have decided to go generic. First Pizza Hut changed their name to "the Hut" because they started selling spaghetti and chicken wings. Radio Shack has become simply "the Shack." Like so many other companies, these two haven't lost their brand awareness; they've lost brand identity, and thereby their relevance.
