RENEE MONTAGNE, HOST:

And our last word in business comes from the London Philharmonic.

(SOUNDBITE OF MUSIC)

MONTAGNE: Which you can hear right now playing the theme to the hit video game "Call of Duty." Our last word in business: music to a gamers' ears. Reaching out to younger audiences, and perhaps just for some fun, the London Philharmonic is releasing an album of the greatest video game music. It's orchestral versions of well-known video game melodies.

STEVE INSKEEP, HOST:

And the album includes the theme song for "Supermario."

(SOUNDBITE OF SONG, "SUPERMARIO")

INSKEEP: We're also delighted to tell you that "Angry Birds" made the cut. That's the game involving little round birds being hurled at evil green pigs.

(SOUNDBITE OF THEME SONG, "ANGRY BIRDS")

INSKEEP: By the way, the composer of the "Angry Birds" theme song says he was emotional when he heard the orchestral version of his music. He said it has great depth and majestic touch. That's the business news on MORNING EDITION from NPR News. I'm Steve Inskeep.

MONTAGNE: And I'm Renee Montagne. Transcript provided by NPR, Copyright NPR.
