Memphis, TN – St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital has joined the fight to stop the spread of HIV and AIDS. Andrea Williams is a Community Development Coordinator for the Connect to Protect Program in the Infectious Disease Department, and she talks about the program in detail.

The mapping project covers Memphis' crime, active HIV/AIDS cases and new infections, sexually transmitted infections, poverty, and education, coupled with demographic data to determine the "hot spots" in Memphis. Once the hot spots are identified, then they and their community partners can target the group identified as most "at risk."
