Eads, TN – Gray's Creek Missionary Baptist Church is one of the region's oldest black congregations. Founded in 1843, the church congregation was originally made up mainly of slaves who met twice a month in a small white frame building in the Eads area. Gray's Creek Missionary Baptist Church stands today at Airline and Stage roads in Memphis.
