Memphis, TN – Fifty years ago a guy named Arthur Meyerhoff was issued the first patent for a non-stick cooking spray. As a product of Arthur Meyerhoff, naturally he named it PAM. And PAM is right up there today with Tabasco, Morton's Salt and Heinz Catsup as one of the most ubiquitous brands in American kitchens.
