Siblings of Children with Autism
By Nicole Erwin
Memphis, TN – According to the Autism Society of America, one in every 150 births in the US end up with an autism spectrum disorder. Not only do these children have to live with the developmental disability, but so do their families, including a group that doesn't always get credit the siblings. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report that one in 150 American children have autism, a number not reported or perhaps even known, is how many of those children have siblings.
