A Tuna Christmas is both an affectionate commentary and withering satire of small town, Southern life and attitudes, with 20+ characters played by just two actors. 


Playhouse on the Square presents The 5th Annual Great Wine Performances Tuesday, August 21 from 6 to 8pm. The fundraiser is part wine tasting and part theatre trivia contest.

Based on the cult film of the same name, a Greek muse descends from the heavens to 1980's Venice Beach, California, to inspire struggling artist Sonny to create the greatest entertainment achievement possible (at least in the 1980s): a Roller Disco!  The muse falls in love with the mortal, and her jealous sisters plot to bring them down.
