East Tennessee Residents Concerned About Air Quality

Knoxville, TN – In December, a massive coal ash spill at a Tennessee Valley Authority power plant in East Tennessee dumped more than a billion gallons of coal ash sludge into the surrounding rivers and neighborhoods. Since then, area residents have worried about the health of the water and the soil near the site. But as Spring and Summer approach, they're beginning to worry about the air too.
