Memphis Moment: Clifford H. Poland, Sr.

Memphis, TN – From 1912-1939, Clifford H. Poland, Sr., recorded photographs of a developing Memphis. His skills were noted by Teddy Roosevelt before he resettled in Memphis. He was known as the only photographer between St. Louis and New Orleans to take color and sound movies at the time.
