New Movie about Memphis College of Art from True Story Pictures

True Story Pictures, makers of The Arts Interviews and The Music Interviews, is about to release a new film about the history of Memphis College of Art. The film will premier on May 2 at Malco's Studio on the Square. Darel Snodgrass spoke with Joann Self Selvidge, founder of True Story Pictures and producer and Director of The Art Academy.

I began piano lessons at age 6, trumpet at age 9, and began teaching myself the guitar at 10. My electronics knowledge comes from my father, who had the RCA television and stereo shop in my hometown of Pocahontas, Arkansas for nearly 20 years. My dad is still fixing televisions at age 79.
